Da’an District, Taipei City｜Shang Palace

I really like Shang Palace’s duck, and this visit was my first time trying their seafood fried rice. It’s now among my favorite fried rices. If you order duck, you can choose either congee or tomato soup. I can imagine some being too full to stomach congee by the end of their meal, so I recommend choosing the tomato soup. The bok choy isn’t cut/split up (which is what I would prefer), but the flavor of the broth is really good. They seemed somewhat short on staff compared to the number of diners, but service wasn’t too slow.

Shang Palace super recommended. This is my first review. Paul Chang is very nice and very passionate on service. The food was fantastic . Super good that I booked again to come tomorrow. Pual is super that he prepare small portions for ppl who don’t eat much.

Incredible dining experience in Shang Palace Highly recommend the Chinese restaurant in the Hotel, delicious dim sum and sophisticated atmosphere, everything is perfect, notably the service of the team, they are super friendly and professional. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
