Da’an District, Taipei City｜The Tavernist

The food was great and special, really enjoyed the vibe there. However, some dishes should come together but somehow our creamed spinach came after we finished most of our meal.

This is a Michellin Plate restaurant tucked away in a boutique hotel. It has a very innovative menu evoking images of a spiced journey through the Middle East. What it lacks is the beauty of plating at Michellin starred places. However, our dishes were quite delicious.

We shared the cauliflower starter then had roasted chicken and portobello risotto — all were delicious and the service was attentive. Really great experience!
