Seems like many low rating 2years ago. But I would give it a 5 star now. The lady boss is very friendly and service is excellent. We ordered half chicken for NT500, she split into 2 plates for us so it's easier to eat. Portion is big and chicken is tasty and tender. The "wild vegetable" (literal: mountain vegetable) is unique and tasty too (NT180). Dumplings is so so. Braised pork rice is nice (pork is more on the fatty side) and cost NT40. Place is clean & bright. Overall we have a very pleasant experience. Recommended

We visited Jiufen during the late evening and it's by luck we bumped into this eatery as they serve kids-friendly dishes. Without any expectations, we are pleasantly surprised by the quality of their boiled chicken which taste amazing only to find out from the friendly lady boss who actually operates a chicken farm business, no wonder! The other dishes like fried rice are quite decent, and at the right timing you get to see and hear the cute garbage truck passing by.

We were craving some savory food and veggies after basically eating sweet snacks throughout old street for dinner. We had tried to order something at the taro tea cafe but after 30 minutes and not receiving any food we left. On our way out we saw this place and the hostess welcomed us in. Within 3 minutes we received our two veggies dishes, they were yummy and hit the spot and we ordered one more after that.
