This is a restaurant that is almost perverted in its pursuit of excellence 💖 At such a price, the group meal has the same flavor and quality as a la carte. No wonder the travel agency arranged to get off the expressway and drive into the city of Chiayi for 30 minutes. We specially came to have dinner at a restaurant with a nostalgic decoration and a sense of history. Although I have checked on Gugou and found out that Zhenbeiping is a good restaurant and I have some confidence in it, you have to see it to believe it. That day, there were 7 meat and 1 vegetarian tables, and we sat in the private room. The vegetarian table uses very few vegetarian ingredients and mostly uses fresh fruits and vegetables. It does not have the unique vegetarian flavor of the vegetarian restaurant in the market! (you know what I mean). The dishes on the whole table have a sense of layering. What should be refreshing should be refreshing, and what should be thickened should be thickened. What I particularly want to mention is the Wensi Tofu Soup served in an iron pot. The tofu is very rare and is cut into thin strips, about 0.1~0.15 centimeters thick. This kind of labor-intensive dish is usually not served during group meals. (I ate it once at Dishuifang in the Buddha Memorial Hall 3 years ago. It cost NT$50 per small cup, but the knife work was more sophisticated and the famous chef in Yangzhou could only sell it after being a guest for 3 days.) In addition to being exquisite in knife skills, the soup base of the tofu soup is delicious and seasoned with a special secret recipe (a trade secret). It tastes extremely hot no matter when you drink it, and it will make you feel better after a long day of traveling. I also recommend three cups of King Oyster Mushrooms, which are properly cooked and seasoned well for autumn. They are rich but not sluggish. If it wasn’t for the lack of garlic, no one would think they were eating vegetarian food.

The beer sprinkled duck is delicious, and the soup is round and delicious. Peking duck is especially delicious. But pick up tour bus guests. It looks lively and cheap. very noisy.
