In love with the cozy space and very nice hospitality. Provide set meals with high-quality ingredients and some are from Yilan. Nice cooking skills, moderner garnishing and food presentation. Tried pan-fried quail(鵪鶉) breast with foie gras filling. The steak was cooked to perfection. Books, small jars with kombucha tea and pickled food caught my eye ;-)

France restaurant with bistronomy focus set in a historical building. Offer Set Manu with main dishes choices. We had fish and duck this time. Appetizers are such treat from the flavor profile, creative ingredients to the presentation. It’s such happy gastronomy experience right from first bite. Complicated dishes made elegantly. Fish skin is finely cut and fry super crispy, excellent contrast with fish itself. I really enjoy it. Duck is decent. Deserts are another gastronomy Wonderland. The only draw back is the coffee and tea. It didn’t match the quality of the food they offer. Overall it’s a pleasant and satisfying experience. We will sure come back again.

Outstanding! I don’t normally write long reviews, but I just had to this time. I’m no food review expert, but I’ll try. The food here is amazing, and so is the service. The food: French bread was lightly infused with olives or maybe onions, very subtle but fragrant. The olive oil was paired not with the typical liquid vinaigrette, but closer to a paste. Excellent. Pairing the bread with soup was also melt-in-your-mouth tasty. The chicken Caesar used locally sourced Yolanda chicken breast, I think sous vide style. The chicken had a slight alcohol kick, and the Caesar dressing was excellent, not too sweet. My main course was the seafood plate with risotto. I think the standout here was the slightly sour sauce which paired with the expertly grilled shrimp, was excellent. The risotto was quite tasty as well. I had some of my wife’s duck breast, and this was the first time roasted duck reminded me of a perfectly grilled steak, soft in the middle. Service: very attentive and gentle, without being intrusive. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!
