An artistic cafe by the beach serving amazing coffee latte and beautifully presented food that tasted delicious. Highly recommend the Shine breakfast set. The mouth-watering special pizza topped with local yilan produce was also a must-get! Never had such an unique combination on a pizza while also being so yummy! No worries about language barrier for foreign travellers as there are friendly english-speaking staff. In addition, the café presents a stunning view of Wai’ao beach and Guishan Island (龜山) gave a serene feeling that makes you really feel like you are on holiday. Overall fantastic cafe experience topped with a beautiful beach view, will definitely visit again when in Yilan!

The cutest cafe I’ve ever been to. The views are so beautiful and the entire cafe is perfect for taking pictures for social media. Came for breakfast, ordered the Lan Yang Style tortilla (which was so good that it was eaten before we could take pictures) and pudding/cheesecake for dessert. The desserts were the highlight, so unique and delicious. The coffee is also very good. Parking and cafe entrance are not on the road side, they are on the beach side. There’s direct access to the beach too. Cafe is on a second floor, and the third floor is a balcony with a gorgeous view of turtle island. Staff is very friendly and fast, and there are English-speaking staff as well. Would definitely come to this cafe during every Yilan visit.

Best. Cafe. EVER! An absolute must for anyone visiting the 一栏 area. Shine Cafe combines beautiful beach views, a wonderful environment tailored for meals, relaxing with a cup of coffee, taking picturesque photos, or passing time with friends, wonderful interior design, and amazing food and coffee. If you are a foodie, instagramer, or coffee enthusiast, I highly recommend giving Shine Cafe a visit!
