More Comments at Google MapThis is a small shop tucked away on level 2 of Keelung Renai Market. It is one of the many stalls on top of the wet market below. You can take the escalator or stairs up to second level. It is well ventilated despite its crowded environment. This stall is run by immigrants from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and it tastes just like what you will get in Hong Kong. They also serve Hong Kong style noodles, sandwiches and soups with authentic Hong Kong taste. I find it tasty and reasonably priced.
For lunch, we came to the familiar Renai Market in Keelung. I have eaten here many times before, and today I specially checked in for the only snack bar that I have not yet made a pilgrimage to. This restaurant is called "Hong Kong Flavor". The name is simple, but the taste is not simple. The boss is a young Hong Kong couple. The boss is handsome and beautiful. Every dish he serves is like a street style from a Hong Kong drama: The Typhoon Shelter Pork Chop Noodles are fragrant, the pork buns with rich milk sauce are just the right amount of evil, the Curry Sambo is tasty and refreshing, and the frozen lemon tea and Hong Kong milk tea are also made in a Hong Kong style. The point is - the price is half that of Taipei! It really makes people wonder if they have traveled back in time to the alleys of Hong Kong. We couldn’t help but ask the boss: Wouldn’t we lose money by selling this way? He smiled and said, "I don't make much, but it's good to be happy." This meal not only satisfies the taste buds, but also provides emotional comfort. ——The tenderness of this city is sometimes hidden in a bowl of noodles.
It is opened by a Hong Kong couple. The drinks are really good. The black tea is a mixture of various black teas and is prepared by the boss himself. The mandarin duck I drank was delicious, and my wife drank the frozen lemon tea. The pork chop buns and pork chop lo mein typhoon shelter flavor I had were very good. My wife had the shrimp wonton soup, which was also good. The wontons should be made by the boss himself and the skin is very thin. If we have the opportunity, we will come again.
