This is epitome of a small mom pop taiwan restaurant. Fresh seafood and ingredients. Don’t let the size of restaurant fool you. The food is fresh and amazing tasting. Definitely worth it!! We typically drive from Taipei to eat this. Many of our overseas friends who grew up here come back multiple times to eat here, even on the same trip!!!!!

Fresh local ingredients, friendly unpretentious service - no frills neighborhood restaurant. Reasonably priced. Fridge is the menu - choose from today's catch and fresh produce. Ask the friendly lao ban niang (lady of the house) for recommendations. We loved everything we ordered: oysters, stir fried bamboo shoots, fried fish (so good we ordered a second one), boiled chicken, spicy sausage, fried rice. Got some free wild wax apples from the restaurant as a wonderful finale.

Really great experience. High quality food, no frills but delicious and affordable.
