A famous milkfish porridge among local. Don't be discouraged by the line outside the store. They buy the food takeout. You can order and pay before entering the AC room. The portion is good~ the fish is boneless, which is enjoyable to eat. Highly recommended!

Must try the fish porridge when you’re in Tainan! The owners wake up and prepare the daily catch at 4am and closes probably before noon, because business is so good. This is the second most popular place as the other one you probably need to queue for 1.5hours, even if you reach at 8am. For this, the waiting time is around 20-30mins. Fish taste super fresh! And you for to order the dumpling and fried fritters. Since you’re already here, why not order more to try!

How happy it is to wake up early in the morning and have a bowl of hot porridge. A Xing salty porridge on Minzu Road is a cheap and delicious salty porridge that I recently discovered. The soup is sweet and clear, the fish meat is delicious, the oysters are plump and plump, and the fish skin soup is so delicious that it explodes. No wonder so many people give it high praise.
