North District, Tainan City｜Maharaja Indian Restaurant

Good quality Indian food. Very ambient and feels exactly like an Indian restaurant with the Indian songs in the background and the photos on the wall. I like the samosa and papad for startes. I was surprised to eat paneer tikka, i think it is their best dish. And the green chutney take me back to the streets of Chandni chowk. I would recommend garlic naan, which is my favourite Indian bread. The kheer in the end was the cherry on the cake. It tastes like the kheer that is made in every Indian household during festivals. Anyone who wants to try Indian food in Tainan, must go to Maharaja. I would recommend to go to this restaurant in a big group of 5-10 people, and share the food. Sharing is caring.
