More Comments at Google MapMy favorite black pork cuisine in town. The bestseller is always the soy-stewed pork with rice (爌肉飯). It is kinda greasy, please forget about your triglyceride levels. Tender and sweet. The chef would simply ask you "how many?" He means how many bowls of pork with rice, you just need to raise your fingers to let him know. You can also try the locals to help you to have a fried tofu or stewed egg with the meal, there are always a queue. The cabbage soup (白菜滷) is also a must. (beware of the toothpicks holding the pork steak together)

The pork rice is made with fresh ingredients and melts in your mouth. Perfect for grilled rice when paired with sauerkraut! It’s super addictive! The braised pork rice that I had for the first time in Changhua tasted surprisingly refreshing. The braised pork was generous in portion, the fat part melted in the mouth, and the lean meat was soft and tender. It was paired with white rice and sweet and sour pickled vegetables with clear grains. The overall taste was very mild and durable. The braised rice was delicious until the last bite.
