This Cambodian restaurant is fantastic. I have had most things on their menu and my favourite is the fresh spring rolls of the unfried variety. The green curry is delicious as is the pho, but honestly, you are safe with anything on the menu. Really lovely people run this place too. Enjoy!🤩🤩🤩

I've been here twice, both the green curry and the pork belly are delicious😋 But I still recommend throwing pigs away~ The fried spring rolls and shrimp rolls are also delicious! The boss is very nice and the children in the store are also very cute😂 And it’s also open at two or three o’clock in the afternoon, which is very friendly to me who eats lunch late🤣 The price is reasonable, the portions are generous, and it comes with soup. It is a very good exotic food shop and I will come back often!

After leaving Yunlin yesterday, we headed to Chiayi and visited the Cambodian Cuisine-Khmer Kitchen located on Jiancheng Street, West District, Chiayi. Since Cambodia is so well known in the news these days, we decided to go eat and see it. Therefore, even though we are eating Cambodian cuisine, which is relatively unpopular, we still see a lot of Vietnamese and Thai influences. But even so, there are still some differences. The boss said that Cambodian cuisine does not use too many spices, and the taste is refreshing. We ordered a bowl of pork kuey teow (Kway teow: Cambodian rice noodles) and a Phnom Penh roast beef. (Phnom Penh: the capital of Cambodia), the taste is very refreshing, even the roast beef paired with green papaya shreds will not be too greasy. The boss is from Chiayi and went to Cambodia for business a few years ago. Later he met his Cambodian wife. After marrying her and having children, he decided to move his family back to Taiwan because he felt that the living environment in Taiwan was relatively better. The boss is very friendly and hospitable, but he is not overly exaggerated. Almost every customer will take the initiative to chat with the boss when they come in, such as regular customers who have been here many times. However, the boss admits that in fact, he does not know some of the customers very well and just does it. That's the way business is, you have to appear friendly, so your customers will feel comfortable too. The reason why I want to open a restaurant is not only to promote Cambodian cuisine, a type of cuisine that is very unpopular in Taiwan, but also because this form of work makes it easier to take care of children. I met not many Cambodians coming to dine. The boss said that there are not many Cambodians living in Taiwan. They would not be particularly surprised when they learned that there is Cambodian food in Chiayi, but they would come here often to eat. It has only been half a year since the store opened. When asked about the future prospects of the store, the boss said that he did not dare to think about it at all. Although the biggest expectation of everyone who opens a store is to open a store, but after experiencing the hard work of opening a store, he said that he just hopes to open a store. Take it one step at a time, as long as you can continue to hold on every day. After the interview, we wanted to take a photo with the boss and his wife. Unexpectedly, two groups of customers came in at once, and the boss went in first to get busy. While we were waiting, we were worried that the boss would forget to take a photo with us. Unexpectedly, the boss suddenly After finishing the work, I quickly grabbed the proprietress who didn’t know the situation and came out, saying that we wanted to take pictures together. The boss’s kindness is reflected in this small place. Not only the guests, but also us feel that he is taken into consideration. We think it is cooking. (Regardless of genre) The most basic attitude. The boss said that Chiayi’s consumption power has never been high, and it is really not easy to make food. I sincerely recommend this to everyone.
