Xihu Township, Changhua County｜溪湖阿秀羊肉爐

As pretty much the only foreigner regularly visiting this restaurant in Chang Hua, they now know my name when I walk in to put myself on the waiting list. It's a huge place with people spilling outside while waiting for a table and the food is always excellent. The goat meat is tender and juicy, the herbal broth fragrant, the vegetables fresh and crispy, and the side of sesame oil wheat noodles are satisfyingly silky. This time I ordered the pork and water chestnut balls and they were wonderful.

Very nice mutton hot pot in Xihu. They serve dishes in affordable price. Besides hot pot, the stir fry dishes and boiled mutton sliced are also impressive.

Good food, great service, but you have to wait in a log line sometimes just to eat here.
