More Comments at Google MapA turkey restaurant with no air-conditioning, only an electric fan, but no dining experience. There was only one big turkey on the stall in front of the door. Unexpectedly, there were two more turkeys inside, so the business must be booming. The turkey fillet with rice ($40) is breast meat, so it doesn’t feel soft when chewed, and the rice is just right. The miso soup ($15) has the highest CP value so far. The large bowl contains many dried fish, and the cabbage stew ($20) has the aroma of flat fish, which is reminiscent of my childhood.
At the entrance, the main prepping station blocks almost the entire doorway forcing you to squeeze past the line of people picking up their lunchboxes, and the small space between the table and wall. In the back room, the seating areas are stacked next to each other, where you sit almost back to back while watching the store owners prep the giant turkeys in front of you. Giant turkeys were strewn around the place in this tiny street stall. One in display up front next to a giant vat of turkey soup. One in the back where the meat was prepped for the rice, huge parts of it in different plates (like a huge turkey butt), and ofcourse turkey meat in every dish on every table. I loved the oil-soaked rice of this shop, and the truly Taiwanese side dishes. Peep the turkey intestines and the heavy handed spoonful of minced garlic on top. For around 35nt, this just can't be beat!
The bowl is huge and only cost thirty NTD each, unbelievable. It’s easy to find a parking spot around so it’s also recommended to drive here. Any rice based things are great but the soup are quite blend. Order with caution.
