Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County｜蔡大頭甕烤雞

The roast chicken is very good. A must try if you are at chia yi. While it's quite oily, the aroma of the chicken is fantastic. However, the taste of the home grown vegetables in Taiwan is quite different from what I'm used to and we didn't really like the taste of the bamboo shoot dish that we ordered. Having said that, we were there for the roast chicken and that was fantastic.

Amazing restaurant. Great selection of food choices, each of which are delicious. The most famous thing here is it's roasted chicken and it's fish head casserole! Both of which are must try!

Great food. Best bbq chicken I have ever had in Taiwan. Cozy place. Lots of parking space. Not surprised why there are many ppl.
