Xitun District, Taichung City｜Kong Ye Vegetarian Noodles

Vegetarian’s favourite and it attracts meat-lovers as well! This vegetarian restaurant is under a chain restaurant brand “輕井澤”, and being popular among the residents in Taichung city. We tried stinky tofu, red-vinegar noodles (highly recommended it!) and sesame buns, all of those were so tasty! I suggest to book your table in advance, otherwise, the average waiting time for a table will be at least 20mins.

A great place for Taiwanese barbecue. We have been here several times and they offer a good balance between high quality food, great service and a good price. When one of our party had some difficulty eating the shrimp, the staff noticed and offered to remove the shell for him.

Probably one of the most comfortable vegetarian restaurant in Taichung. Like the Japanese zen design and ambience. Although it's vegan menu, tasted great! Lots of varieties to choose from. Worthy for a revisit for a healthy meal.
