Beidou Township, Changhua County｜Peitou Jan Meatball

If you are looking for a great Beidou style meatball and only had the time (or stomach) to try one place, make it this place! Skin texture was spot on and the best I've had in the Beidou Changhua area. The meatball had a heavier garlic flavor (which I love!) and was bursting with bamboo shoots! The sauce was balanced and not too sweet. Keep in mind that Beidou style meatballs typically don't have mushrooms in it, in case you were wondering. This was my second meatball stop of the day and despite being somewhat full I still found this to be one of the best I've had! Highly recommended!

A traditional Taiwanese street food introduced by locals. The boss keeps low and humble and is not full of tourists, but the main dish, meatball aka Ba-Wan, is super yummy and juicy. If you like to explore the real and local street food, keep it on your list, you won't regret it.
