If I could go back to taiwan for 1 meal only it would be here. The clams and the grilled pork was the best I’ve ever tasted. The vegetables were so appetising and the prawns were so juicy and fresh. A humble little place tucked away on a hill next to the sea, we were the only ones there for dinner that night and so the whole experience was intimate and homey. It was like being served fine dining quality food as a home cooked meal. I hope more people come by because the chef and the place deserves the recognition.

Outdoor seating, but it’s not hot during night time. One of the best meal I had in my life time!! I really enjoy the vibe here, jazz music was played during my stay there. Though it took some time between dishes, it’s the pace of Hualien, relaxing and chill!! Strongly recommend their 烤五花, it’s flavored with cumin.

Arrived when it’s about closing time (845pm), we were still served grilled menu nevertheless! Owner has a dedicated focus on food quality especially the source of origin so be sure to enjoy some very fresh local ingredients in this cozy homey restaurant. Definitely recommend to visit if you ever come Hualien.
