Tamsui District, New Taipei City｜源味滷肉飯

The boss lady said that young people don’t eat fat meat nowadays. I would like to say that I really like the braised pork rice in this restaurant. I have been looking for this flavor in Taipei for a long time. I even went to Tamsui to eat 3 bowls. Hope to have it again next time.

The meat on the stewed pork rice is rich in color and delicious (several times I want to ask the boss if I can pack a bag of meat) Miso soup is cheap and tastes good, not too sweet and not only salty I used to go there for a bowl of miso soup the next morning when I was studying in Tamsui. The business hours are very long and the overall quality of things is not bad I haven't been there for a long time, I will miss the taste

Pretty tasty. Pretty cheap. Simple layout of traditional Taiwanese style restaurant. Try their braised pork with chicken on rice. It's quite delicious. You can also order soup or have Bento.
