UPDATE 29.10.2023 Alassio remains my favorite Italian spot in Taipei. Picked it for my final dinner in Taiwan, and it was fantastic! The Serrano Ham Mozzarella appetizer was delicious, and the Ravioli, just like the other dishes, was amazing. The chef was really nice and even treated us to a dessert! Thanks a lot for making my dinner awesome! OLD REVIEW Alassio is an outstanding restaurant and the one of best that I have visited in Taiwan so far. The staff at Alassio are exceptional and go above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome and satisfied. The hostess, in particular, is amazing and provided incredible hospitality service, which is rare to find in Taiwan in general. All the food at Alassio was exceptional, earning a rating of 10 out of 5 stars! Every dish was a delight, but the mushroom ravioli stood out the most and was truly unforgettable. In fact, it was so good that you wanted to order it a second time! The staff and chef at Alassio are also very thoughtful. While I was waiting for my boyfriend, they gave me snack - piece of pizza, it was delicious which made me feel welcomed. It's sweet gestures like these that make Alassio stand out from other restaurants. The red wine was nice and a bit sparkling ✨️ I ended up to order few more bottles. Thank to the chief for incredible tasty food and to the staff for being friendly and provide a very good hospitality service.

searched for an Italian resto on my 2nd night in Taiwan and found Alassio with good reviews. It did not disappoint me🙂 The foooooodddd is superb!!! This is my first time to taste freshly made pasta, I didnt know pasta can be that light in ones mouth and can make you feel really happy. The ambience is lovely, the service and staff were courteous. I didnt know that one of the ladies who served me was the owner and the chef is her husband. They have variety of hot and cold drinks and good number of food selection. Food serving and price is very reasonable you wouldnt feel bad even if you pay more 😊 This restaurant is highly recomended and I will defo be back. Id like to order more but I have a sched trip to the night market. This place is a good find 🤍

This is an authentic Italian restaurant with an Italian chef. The ambience and atmosphere is very intimate. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. My friends and I tried several dishes including appetizers, main courses, and dessert. They offered pizza bites and mini bruschette for free sampling. The bruschetta melted in my mouth and was my favorite part of the meal. We had mixed green salad, french fries, and arancini for appetizers. The arancini was fabulous with pumpkin sauce. We had garlic, olive oil, and chili spaghetti. We also had penne pasta with an arrabbiata sauce, very fresh gnocchi with a passata sauce. My favorite pasta was the penne but the texture of the gnocchi was fantastic. The pastas we ordered were all vegetarian friendly. Another main course item we had was the eggplant parmesan. It was wonderfully done and melted in your mouth. My friends also ordered the fish which was served with vegetables. They described it as tasty but not spectacular. We had the tiramisu for dessert and it was very nice. They included some meringue as well that tasted so light and airy. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.
