Hole-in-the-wall tiny cash-only restaurant with fresh sashimi at good value. The slices are generous, and the attendants are friendly. Bonus for me: for the Chirashi I was expecting cubed little pieces of raw fish, instead I got great looking sashimi on top of warm and well seasoned rice. The sweet ginger paired well with the raw fish. A very positive experience. Will revisit for sure. Revisited Apr 2023: the chirashi was less impressive than the first visit, with no salmon or hamachi, and all four kinds of fish look and taste similar. The owner realised this and took my feedback positively. 👍

Great hidden little restaurant in the alley - great quality and price! Very happy with our order - sashimi combo, nigiri combo - all very tasty. And I love the fresh fish soup as well. Definitely coming back again!

Very generous portions. I ordered the sashimi donburi bowl, which came with 12 pieces of fish and a free miso soup. Reading other reviews, I also ordered the garlic clam soup (it was delicious), as well as 2 ala carte pieces of salmon nigiri. The proprietors do not speak English but understood enough to supply a laminated English menu and wax pencil for ordering. Overall, very satisfied with the meal for less than 400NT. Will definitely come again.
