Tamsui District, New Taipei City｜Kooks 2 異嗑堂二店 (K2 Mountain Kitchen 山灶廚房)

Located in a remote mountain area, the restaurant is a wonder to enjoy proper foods and exotic ambiance. We are attracted by its light decorations few weeks ago when we passed by, and we finally came here today to explore it. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas arranged in a creative, vintage way. The menu offers many options from Thai cuisine to Mexican to Italian to American. The foods we had are all flavorful and in good portion. The only week part may be their drinks, nothing special. Overall, the price is so inexpensive for the experience here. We even made extra order to take out. Definitely recommend for a try.

Lovely venue with a great selection of home made food, right down to the last detail. Highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon out. You might need to make a reservation, but mid afternoon suits us well when it's not so busy.

Western style Brunch spot in the hills of Tamsui. Food is great and diverse of various western style cuisines. Atmosphere is very cozy and indie DIY decorated. The food is slowly served so it’s relaxing to hang out with friends and enjoy mountain atmosphere. Portions are big so you might not want a set meal if you aren’t that hungry. Tex-Mexican dishes like the chili, nachos, and tacos were good. I would probably pick out their breakfast style dishes next time. Deserts like the cinnamon roll was super good (very unhealthy but very good)
