Beitou District, Taipei City｜Ootoya Xinbeitou Restaurant

An excellent meal at this restaurant. They didn't hurry us even when we were almost the last few customers in the restaurant. The cod fish soup was terrific. I love my Pork Tonkatsu - it may not be the best, but it's nice and crispy (almost without the porky smell. The fish set was slightly disappointing; although it was big, this fish tasted off. The green tea latte was quite delightful. The service is excellent and helpful, so if you are with kids, this may be the best spot to have a family meal.

We went in at 1:00 noon on holidays, and the seats were not full, but there was a group of customers before us, and there were many individual customers who just entered at the same time, so we waited for a long time after ordering, probably more than 15 minutes! And the bill came before the food, and I didn't say it was for confirmation, but only said it was your bill, which made me think that the counter made a mistake and thought the food had already been served! However, those who came in after us were told to wait for 15 minutes, so maybe they didn't feel this way! After more than 15 minutes, the candy crash was dead, and the pork chop rice bowl was served! The anger just now 😡 (even my husband felt it, he was afraid to eat it when his meal was already served 😈) after biting the first pork chop, it all disappeared! I have to say, something delicious 😋 is really magical! The meat is thick and chewy, it will not get stuck between the teeth (this is very important), and it is Q and soft! All in all very good. I'm losing weight, so take half a portion home, and it's still delicious in the microwave! So I'm still giving 5 stars, because to go from anger to joy, okay! You are amazing 👍. Moreover, the takeaway can be just as delicious, so forgive me for being slow! But other big houses, I don't know if they are as powerful. Because my impression of Otoya is about 4 stars! The red bean gnocchi for dessert was average. The side dish cold tofu is also very average. This is the concept of pork chop rice supporting the audience! It should be the level of Taipei City Government's 2019 New Year's Eve Amei God Rescue!
