This is my favorite restaurant in Wulai. The food is always fresh, it has a chill, no-frills family atmosphere, and the people are always friendly. The food ranges from authentic to the usual mix (fusion, if you like) between Han Chinese, Hakka, and Indigenous items. The Mountain Pork is always good,the "three cup chicken" features small partridge-like birds, and most westerners who go there find their favorite is the "bin lang hua" - a salad (served hot or cold) of betelnut fronds. Unique and fresh taste and crispy texture. Vegetarians can usually find plenty to keep themselves happy and they even knew what we were talking about when we had a friend along who was gluten-intolerant.
