More Comments at Google MapWorth the stop. Fast service for a bin gourmand. They really have the process down. Although the line is long, it moves quickly and you're able to order on a paper form which is easy. Tables are close together but the inside is clean and busy. The food is delicious. Braised pork is well marinated and melt in your mouth. Stewed pork was also very flavourful and rich. Fried tofu was nice.
Best 魯肉飯 we had this trip. Hands down. Generous amount of braised pork slices covered the entire bowl of fragrant white Taiwanese rice… so satisfying! Braised duck eggs paired well with the rice. Other braised items were decent, though not the best I have had. Oh, their soup with pork slices is a must try too. Sweet note but paired well with the greasy braised pork rice. Air conditioned dinning area, those the seats we took was right next to the stove and felt a bit warm. Clear instruction at door step - take the form and pen to mark your choice before payment at counter to complete your order. Visited at 9ish am on Monday morning… no queue, we were the 4th table there. Entire market was closed except this stall, located in the middle of the night market. A bit of walk to get to it from keen side.
I had a fantastic first-time experience at this restaurant. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the ambiance and friendly service. The food was outstanding. Each dish we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The braised pork rice, braised cabbage, tofu, and pork rib soup were all highlights of the meal. The braised pork had the perfect texture and melted in my mouth when combined with the rice. The pork rib soup was tender and had a nice chewy texture, and the seasoning was just right. Despite the long wait on weekends, the queue system was efficient and the spacious interior made for a comfortable waiting area. The service was also quick, which was a plus for a busy restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Taiwanese food. The experience was worth the wait, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
