Datong District, Taipei City｜Formosa Chang NingXia Main Restaurant

Rarely do I find a place that has nothing wrong with it. All the dishes had well-balanced flavors. The price was super reasonable. Only problem was the ordering via QR code. The system wiped away our order and it took a few tries to get it right.

Had this many years back at another outlet and didn't left an impression. However this outlet was nearby my hotel and realised that it is the founding outlet with many reviewers vouch for it being the best so had to try it again. I really enjoyed it this round, the braised sauce was the sweet spot and everything in the bowl complimented the dish well. The meat ball soup was pretty generic but the added radish was a plus!

Type of restaurant: Casual Overall (4.5/5): Good place to visit if you are in Ning Xia Night market. Food is decently priced and has good taste. Service (5/5): No waiting time for dinner on a Sunday. Food came promptly. Food (5/5): We ordered the braised pork rice (Lu rou fan 滷肉飯). Taste is one of the better ones in Taiwan. Value (4/5): Priced decently. Price paid is worth the taste. Others: They have other food as well, but we did not try others. Can order those if you are keen to try.
