More Comments at Google MapFrench style brasserie with its own characters. Highly recommended. We ordered garden salad, prawns with tomatoes and pickled eggs sauce, chicken risotto, and Iberia pork. The dressing of the salad is locally grown olive vinegar from Taitung. It tastes light and bright, though it would be nice if it’s less oil and more vinegar. The veggies didn’t have too much of their own tastes though. The prawns were spot on. We especially like the combination of Taiwanese pickled eggs with tomatoes. The chicken risotto is a good fusion of traditional Chinese chicken soup fumed with liquor and Italian way making risotto. The ibérique pork was tender and the dressing reminds one of the high end version of sriracha with lots of sweet peppers. The only drawback is the lack of dessert options. The only one choice the day we visit was chocolate truffle. The wine selection is quite good. Overall speaking, it’s one of the most sincere and tasty Asian French fusion places in Taipei.
Here is really good French style cuisine with Taiwanese elements. I like the style here. Please start your dinner with draft beer in front of here, and please never miss small vending shop which serve very good quality Taiwanese braised snacks.
Cozy restaurant, a bit hidden behind the facade of old Dihua street buildings. The chef was most welcoming and pleasant. The dishes where excelent. The Stinky tofu appetizer was absolutely delicious, and the steak was super tender. A good selection of new and old world wines. The serving speed was perfect, as we liked to enjoy a relaxed dinner, and not a hasty meal).
