It is a delicious South Asia-style curry made by the owner, which is different from the Japanese-style curry in the surrounding shops

I was sitting in the tiny park next to this place just inhaling the aroma of the night's curry being made: it is the richest, most complex curry I've had in nine years of chasing Indian joints in Taiwan. The pork and pumpkin curry was generous, with 2 fist-sized chunks of tender pork ribs and one huge scoop of excellent pumpkin. All curries come with a big scoop of yellow and white rice, freshly steamed cabbage and homemade sweet-sour pickles made from four colorful veggies. No English menu but the options are few enough that they can be easily explained by the server. The sign outside says "Primitive Curry" and the seating area is pleasantly lit. They open at 5:40pm and filled up quickly on Saturday night. Highly recommended!

The curry flavor is very strong. The main course curry is very large and full of ingredients. The chicken and abalone curry contains a chicken leg and leg steak, as well as whole carrots and potatoes. It feels full and very delicious!
