The foods here are awesome (especially the roasted onions) and its long opening hour in the midnight is a highlight in this area. The staff is very friendly and one of them was injured but still serve customers with a professional spirit. Will come back again for sure.

Most izakayas in Taipei are Taiwanese-style izakayas, only offering barbecue and snacks. This restaurant is very orthodox. In addition to barbecue fried food, it also serves sashimi, tuna directly delivered from Donggang, swordfish, Hokkaido scallops, sweet shrimp and many other choices, which are fresh. I drank some wine during my last meal (I highly recommend the dark draft beer, like Asahi, which is not bitter and rich. If you like dark beer, come and try it!!). The chef suggested that I order a bowl of clam soup...it's really good...it's great ending! A few bottles of wine cost 2,400 for three people, about 800 for one person, which is a reasonable price for an izakaya.

I was very surprised to come across this. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and you’ve got to give the skewers a try. The nigiris are definitely one of the better ones for its price around this area.
