Shilin District, Taipei City｜Mr Chee Kopitiam Premium (Shilin Branch)

We ordered five main dishes and a satay combo, all of which tasted amazingly good. The portions are also quite big, we were very full at the end. This premium branch serves slightly different dishes from other branches, not really sure what the differences are, but here they serve satay with lontong. I recommend the nasi lemak, rice is fragrant, fried chicken is crispy and well seasoned, sambal is delicious too. Char kway teow has a smoky wok hay flavour and this dish may be a little spicy for some people. The satay is served with lontong, the cube-shaped rice, I really like them, but the turmeric taste in the satay chicken is a bit too strong. Bak kut teh, war dan hor, and curry laksa are good too. Though you will have to peel the shrimps for war dan hor, so consider this if you want to order one.

A taste of Singaporean food outside of Singapore. Would recommend this place! Can definitely get busy so might have to wait sometimes. Love the strong flavors in the dishes and their kaya toast and drinks hit the spot.

Comfortable, newer Malaysian restaurant with fast friendly service! Definitely recommend a visit to taste the unique flavors! Iced coffee was delicious and strong. Rice was accented with coconut and delicious! Chicken satay had a great BBQ flavor. Get the Kaya toast hot and fresh- it is so delicious!
