This is one of the best restaurants in Taipei and a must try. It is easier to get a table at this location compared to 忠孝; but if you are coming with a party larger than 2, it is a good idea to call ahead to make reservation. Service is impeccable and runs like clockwork. Atmosphere is inviting, and is well suited for a date, business gathering, or just hanging out with friends and family. My favorite dishes include: - 正宗菜脯蛋 - 三杯杏鮑菇 - 干貝小魚花生 - Fried fish (pomfret) - 杏仁豆腐

In my opinion this is a really good restaurant with authentic Taiwanese food with a balanced price point. I am also very glad that there is a robotic seat that can help people with limited mobility to move up the staircase to the dining floor on the second level. Lastly some reviews mentioned the attitudes of the staff but in my opinion, they are just a little curt but effective and done their job well.

Great Taiwanese cuisine & Service! If traveling to Taipei you need to try at least once a true Taiwanese food experience. This place is one of the best, many dishes and with pictures so you don’t have to worry about ordering. Decor is very attentive and good rice wine as well!
