Shilin District, Taipei City｜Grassland Mongolian Hot Pot

Quite enjoyed my stay. Definitely recommend it if you look for hot pot with some nuance. This restaurant has a Mongolian theme. Soups are in Mongolian style and they recommend having the food without dipping into soy sauce. I ordered a single set, which came with a type of meat of your choice (picked lamb), a bunch of vegetables, a bowl of rice or a pack of glass noodles, a desert, unlimited drinks and unlimited yogurt smoothies. Though food isn't unlimited, it should be enough for a normal person. For the food quality, I'd say the lamb is quite decent and recommend to anyone who likes lamb. The staff were friendly and sometines invited customers to play a hand game with Mongolian theme. At the end of the meal, the staff would invite you to choose one of the NGOs to which they will donate some of their profits.

Love the strong flavor pot food❤️ I fell in love with the pot food when I first tried it many years ago! This time I posted a large pot a la carte, but I still prefer individual pots, which are more cost-effective! Taste: The soup is really great and rich, and the ingredients are very fresh Environment: Unique Mongolian style, but I still prefer Yidian Service: The service staff may be unclear about many things, but they are very attentive to help solve problems and meet needs 👍🏼👍🏼 Price: A bit high, but definitely worth it (Boss~ There was something like Leicha a long time ago that was really delicious, but it seems like it’s gone now?)

This is traditional Mongolian hot pot has a cute friendly decor. The wait was not bad for a Saturday but filled up very quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful and some spoke English. The menu is also in English. We ordered the princess lamb hot pot and the warrior lamb hot pot. You can order the soup base in several varieties of spiciness. We ordered no spice and medium spice. Both hot pot was excellent. There was also all you can eat ice cream (natural yam, guava, sesame & rum raisin). The waiter will play a game with you and if you win you get a free dish. If you add them as a friend on “line” you will also receive a free dish. All the food was really good and everyone was very nice. A most enjoyable meal!
