Local cuisine taken to an elite level. Meat is flavoured and cooked to perfection, huge variety and immense portion sizes. Strongly recommend the deep fried pork spare ribs, but everything we had was delicious.

Local Taiwanese food done with excellent finesse. The place is out of the way, not close to any metro lines, so you will need to make an effort to get there. However, once you're there, you're in for a treat! Good flavors, great taste and quite prompt service. We enjoyed the deep-fried pork ribs, the cold sliced chicken, a millet fried rice as well as a sauteed live crab with egg sauce. We also tried a local veggie dish called the Snowflake. Very nicely done. Each dish was excellent and surpassed our expectations. I cannot rate this place more highly. Its simply great. Not cheap but good value for money considering the quality. Reservations mandatory.

Golden Formosa offers excellent Taiwanese cuisine. Quality food and service is fabulous. Staff are courteous and helpful really made our visit and tasting experience to the top. We want to com back more and more Highly recommend this restaurant.
