Da’an District, Taipei City｜Kao Chi Xinsheng Restaurant

I hadn’t planned on coming here, but it’s where my feet took me, and I’m happy they did! The food was delicious and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful! I had some sesame buns and the Dan Dan noodles, both were fantastic! The sesame bun things and the mango juice were both great recommendations by staff. (It is an entire pitcher of mango juice, and you can bring the rest with you if you don’t finish - I was able to enjoy it for the rest of the day.) The atmosphere was relaxing from the busy day and the staff have the perfect balance of letting you enjoy your food and helping you when needed. This is a great place to go eat on your own or with friends. If you speak limited mandarin, there are staff who can help with translation and do a phenomenal job. The menu also has pictures for those who are well versed in the language of pointing and nodding. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area!

This is a famous legacy restaurant since 1949. The food is always good. They are th one started to have windows to show those chefs cooking in the kitchen!

Xiao long bao 5/5 - they are good Shrimp wonton noodle soup 5/5 - i loveddd the shrimp wontons! The noodles were okay, but the wontons were so delicious i would order this over and over A ‘gratuity’ is automatically added if you dine in.
