Da’an District, Taipei City｜晶湯匙泰式主題餐廳(復興SOGO店)

Overall, right from the beginning, this restaurant was a notch better than 瓦城泰國料理. They used their own brand plates and utensils. (I guess I was a little impressed. LOL!) We loved the red chicken curry the most. Sliced Moon Pies were popular among us. Sour beef veggie for appetizer received mixed reception. I did like the tender BBQ beef in it. The staffs were pretty courteous. The only thing that, to us, was their reservation system. The receptionist insisted that I could only make the reservation at 6:30pm, not 7:00pm which I complied. And then, I received 4 reminders by phone which was rather annoying. (I could understand it might be a necessary step for a Friday evening dining. Still, there were plenty empty seats/tables when we arrived with elders and handicap.) By the way, we loved the deserts!!! Tasty and Good portion for two. Wish it was cooler for such hot weather though! Another thing, the pictures on their website weren't accurate. They really need to update them, so they aren't misleading!;(

Clean and fancy decor, great service, food is standard, and desserts are yummy!
