Shilin District, Taipei City｜Boulevard Cafe 林蔭美式餐酒食

This Cafe is located between Shilin and Miramar so you'll need to take a bus to get here. You can take the 255, 620, or 957 from Shilin MRT Station. From Jiannan Rd Station, you can take the 620 or 957. It has two floors of seating and it's best to make a reservation as it a nice comfortable place to stay for a while. The staff is friendly and made recommendations from the menu. They have an English menu which is always very accommodating. I ordered the Vegetarian lasagna which has so much cheese on top that you'll wonder if it has any noodles. It comes with one piece of garlic bread but I'd recommend you get an additional order on the side with 5 pieces. My friend had the Spicy Chicken pasta and it was very spicy owing to the Szechuan pepper and garlic. For dessert we had the very decadent chocolate brownie and the creme brulee custard. We ordered from the unlimited soda refill menu for our drinks. If you order pasta, you can get a set menu price which saves about 60 ntd. We stayed for a long time chatting and lingering over our meals without any pressure from the wait staff to leave. That alone is a reason to return to this establishment.

My daughter loves the place. Food is decent. Wife complains that the AC is too cold. Drinks are nice. That's about it.
