We dropped by this rustic eatery place on Tuesday unaware that the shop was closed. Met the boss and his wife who kindly offered to cook lunch for us. Their service was super fast within twenty minutes all our dishes were served at our table. Three vegetable dishes, their house specialty roast Pork and herbal chicken soup. We had stir-fried young bamboo shoots, vegetable leaves of the chaytoe melon, fried tuofu, crispy roast pork and their piping hot Huai San chicken soup with chinese Angelica root. The soup was so delicious that we finished the whole pot. All the dishes were so good

I cannot say enough good things about the owners who run this eatery. The food is top notch as expected, delicious chicken, super fresh local veggies but the service and hospitality is next level. If you want to feel like you’ve been embraced by a warm familiar hug, then definitely come here for a unique and heart-warming experience!

There are no noisy people and cars in Zhuzi Lake, but there is the tranquility and coolness beside Zhuzi Lake; home-style wild vegetables, kind boss and wife, and a plate of fried sweet potatoes after dinner!
