Da’an District, Taipei City｜紅皇后 川酒 • RED QUEEN BISTRO

Not authentic Sichuan cuisine but an interesting fusion of Sichuan cuisine. The dishes all had an interesting spin on them and tasted great despite its difference from the authentic dish. The service and the ambience was great as well, but you definitely pay for it, as the dishes were all expensive. Still, food was good, great service and nice presentation/plating so worth the price in my opinion. I liked the water boiled beef and their spin of adding in a steamed egg at the bottom of the dish.

It is a fancy restaurant by serving Sichuan cuisine via bistro way. Those dishes were tasty even though you are the kind of person who cannot eat spicy. However, it’s quite pricy, we almost spent 2000 each person(did not order alcohol).

Enjoyed the food and the place! Went here with friends from work the first time and definetly not the last. Much more enjoyable when you go in a group, so you can order and share different dishes without being too limited with the options.
