More Comments at Google MapA zen style vegetarian restaurant located in young Ming mountain. The whole restaurant area is more like a forest park surrounded by big trees and decorated with many of the owner’s sculpture works. You can see huge stone-carved elephant and Buddha statues sitting under big trees. The whole dinning area is paved with tatami giving a light Japanese touch. The owner will provide clean disposable socks for the visitors to walk freely on the tatami. The food is all made from vegetables. All are with great presentation and taste that you forget it’s vegetarian. For the traffic, it is not easy to locate, taxi might be a good better choice for visitors who don’t have car in town. The price ranged from 1000-2000, totally worth it though. All staffs are friendly and helpful.
This is a great place to visit. The food is delicate and amazingly delicious. The environment is expected to be comfortable and beautiful, but unexpected to be extremely mind-comforting. Furthermore, they offer equally excellent services. The price may not be inexpensive, but everything they have here is definitely worth the price.
Creative, delicious vegan dishes made with care and presented beautifully. My wife got the Michelin green star menu and I got the standard menu so we could try a bit of both. Generally speaking, we both enjoyed the standard menu more. The Michelin green star menu seemed to overuse truffles which led to an experience full of umami but became a bit monotonous. Standout dishes were the ginger soup and the mushroom steak? Not really sure what kind of mushroom it was but it was the entree for both menus. Texture and taste unlike any other mushroom I've had and black pepper sauce was magnificent. We also enjoyed the Japanese tea service with an amazing matcha rice cake dessert (part of the Green Star menu) and the sushi from the green star menu was very impressive as well. Free flow pu-erh tea that was delicious as well. Take some time to walk around the grounds after the meal to appreciate the environment. They also sell freshly made extra virgin oils in a small shop. We picked up a bottle of the black sesame oil that they had just made in the morning.
