Xinyi District, Taipei City｜Hunghwa Teppanyaki Taipei 101 Mall Flagship Restaurant

In my opinion, the best teppanyaki in Taipei. Yes, they have another branch in Sogo, but everything seems to taste better here. Not sure if it's the chefs or ingredients, but my wife and I both noticed everything was better. Also, there are choices of appetizer, whereas the Sogo location does not offer this. There are also more steak choices. I had the ribeye, and my wife had the Kobe beef, both were superb and better than what we had elsewhere. This location, in Taipei 101, is a larger place, with many tables. There is much more privacy, and we had a room entirely to ourselves on a Friday night, no less. Nice experience.

The ingredients are fresh, the chef has mastered the cooking skills just right, the scallops, fish and seafood are delicious, the lamb chops and short ribs with salt flowers are really delicious, and the last cheese cake is also very professional. The fifth floor of 101 is high and spacious, really Don't waste your money on Chamonix, this is the real Teppanyaki.

Pretty good quality of food. Service was not too bad. Menu is a bit confusing thou.
