Staying here was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Hualien! Xiao Hui was a gem! Her hospitality was outstanding and this was one of the best places we've ever stayed on our travels. The place was clean, quaint and so homely, with beautiful sea views. We looked forward to waking up each day to a scrumptious and delicious breakfast with everything handmade by Xiao Hui, who is a fantastic cook and baker. We got to enjoy treats from her during tea time as well. What made our stay so special was actually her attention to details. Sometimes in casual conversation, we would mention something, and she actually listens and gives us a "surprise" after, like buying us her favourite chou toufu, or cooking a snack for us after we told her we had something unsatisfactory for dinner earlier on. I could go on and on but this is a place that gave my partner and I such special memories. We also adored her cats <3 Thank you Xiao Hui! We hope to come back someday again! :)
