Shoufeng Township, Hualien County｜杋扎徠 原住民小吃

As a foreigner found this lovely place, this restaurant is so good, 老闆娘 is very kind to us and she can speak Japanese with my friends also. The food are very nice, especially the stir-fried squid.

Had a really nice lunch here, the barbecued fish with prawns and local veg, all great (esp the fish). The woman cooking and running the place is friendly and helpful, it feels like she’s cooking for you in her own home. Nice view of the sea. We got a taxi here from town and then they called us a taxi to get back again - original idea was to walk back but the road didn’t look that nice. Not sure if there’s a bus.

Great food and very friendly hosts. Showed us some edible wild herbs and answered our curiosities. Would definitely visit the place again.
