Hualien City, Hualien County｜億品鍋 Mini Shabu Shabu 花蓮國聯店

Went there at 11am plus for lunch. The ordering is via a self-service machine at the entrance that only takes cash notes and coins. The kitchen staff are so efficient (also could be not too crowded yet at this early timing) that by the time we walked back to our table they have already rolled out the food. The food is delicious and there is free flow of ice-cream, popcorn and drinks. The staff are friendly and would help to explain the ordering system if you are a first time customer. We loved it so much this is our second visit. Previous day visited at night during peak dinner period and there's a short wait of 4 diners before us.

We saw this restaurant as we were walking by to find dinner. The staff was super friendly! He tried his best to explain the process to us as we only speak English. They do have menus in English, but the problem we run into is when placing the order! There is a machine where you have to place your order and pay first, but it was all in Chinese! The staff helped us place our order. We ordered two hot pot sets. We did not order the side/additional item as we do not know how big the sets were or what comes with the set. There were also a lot of free self-service items as well! There was a free noodle salad station, different flavor ice cream, popcorn, make your own sauce station, rice, coffee, tea, and different drinks. The server kept an eye out on us the whole time in case we needed something or had any questions since everything was in Chinese! He was super nice! The whole thing was actually pretty cheap too!

food is really good, there were lots off drink options, ice cream, popcorn, and lots of other toppings. they also provide amenities for women which is very thoughtful 🤩
