Hualien City, Hualien County｜Mustard Seed Pizza

One of the best artisanal pizzas we ever tasted in Taiwan. The crust is simply amazing. Chef owner is fronting a one-man show with fresh produce, homemade ingredients including fragrant sausages and pesto sauce. Definitely worth a visit, a little wait and even a detour!

This pizza restaurant was on my TO GO list in Hualien for a long time since it’s opened. We finally got a chance to try this time! Happy the phone call got picked up and we successfully ordered our pizzas. (Due to Covid-19 the restaurant only accepts TAKE AWAY orders.) Both pizzas taste really good 😋 Since Hualien has lots of cool outdoor places to enjoy the natural views, we simply felt lucky to enjoy great food and the view at the same time.

Awesome pizza!! Tastes like pizza from the USA. The cook/owner is a great chef. He speaks fantastic English and is very kind. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good pizza.
