A very warm and welcoming setting inside a very intimate shared table. The owner is a local indigenous from Taroko, which made for a very authentic experience. She cooks everything to your requirements - I let her know ahead of time that I was vegan and she was very accommodating, going out of her way to cook a special soup for hours, especially made for autumn weather. Most produce is sourced locally and organic. She uses minimal additives and always uses the natural alternative to add flavour to her cooking. I love to cook and learnt a lot from just being there! Everything was made with such care and was fresh, delicious and nutritious. She wouldn’t let us leave hungry so insisted we had more belongs. It was really special! Loved her little chihuahua Cash, who kept we warm through dinner :)

Dining in an unique place full of moka pots and antiques is quite an experience! Very grateful to have a vegan restaurant here! Dinner with Yuli is more than a meal, it's an experience. She devotes herself both to the food and to making sure you enjoy your time in her dining room. She happily shares her knowledge of the ingredients (largely local, all organic and fresh) and preparation techniques as well as her love of life in general. There is no menu. You need to make a reservation and should provide any dietary restrictions at that time. Our vegan meal was slightly different than the vegetarian fare provided to the other couple at the table. I contacted her at 9am or so for a 6pm same day meal. Her English is excellent and she makes sure to introduce you to the other diners to help provide a convivial atmosphere.
