More Comments at Google MapUpon stepping into Nibbon Restaurant in Kaohsiung, you immediately notice the meticulous attention to detail that embodies both professionalism and finesse. The food itself is akin to a performance art or a narrative. Each dish ingeniously blends characteristics of Japanese and French cuisines, offering not only a culinary delight but also a visual feast. The porcelainware is equally exquisite, each piece carefully curated as though an art object meant to adorn the beautiful space. What's even more commendable is Nibbon's ever-changing seasonal menu. This not only showcases the chef's creativity and skill but also ensures that every visit offers a new surprise. Be it appetizers, main courses, or desserts, each item is thoughtfully designed and perfectly matched. For me, this restaurant is well worth the trip from Taipei to Kaohsiung. Each visit feels like an ultimate sensory journey—from the visuals to the taste, and from the ambiance to the service, everything is just impeccable. Nibbon is more than just a restaurant; it's a sanctuary where one can immerse themselves in both fine dining and art. If you, like me, have a passion for gourmet food and a refined lifestyle, don't miss this multifaceted restaurant located in Kaohsiung. I can guarantee it will satiate both your taste buds and soul.
Fantastic food and wine pairing. The space felt homey and warm which I always appreciate. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the service was great overall. Very rare for me to be thinking of visiting again before the meal is even over but this place left me wanting more. The food was just so beautifully executed with a lot of complexity. Would 100% come back again.
Overall, a unique fine dining experience ☺️! ✨ Japanese-French fusion restaurant ✨ my top 3 are the wagyu hanger steak, the soup, and the foie gras/black truffles/lobster sauce ✨ you can tell the restaurant puts a lot of effort into refining tiny details to provide the best dining experience possible! the naming of the dishes! the hidden door! the design of the courses! the combination of ingredients (eg. caviar & egg white cream... I knowww) 🤤! they are all very creative & original!
