Gushan District, Kaohsiung City｜鈺善閣 ‧ 素 ‧ 養生懷石(高雄店)

We came here for birthday celebration. Staffs are friendly, and well trained to brief every dish they delivered. Restaurant atmosphere is good and relaxing. Food is so creative and delicate, hard to imagine dishes we ate are all vegetarian. Location is near train station, walkable distance from station to restaurant.

There is a reason why the price is much higher here. The service and the cuisine here were outstanding. The waitresses described the dishes clearly. The decoration were gorgeous. Also they provide vegan options. There is also a considerate service that if you're still hungry you can order the vegan braised pork rice to eat as much as you want. And I gotta say the rice were totally spot on.

Delightful dinner! The restaurant and more over the chef really earn the Michelin plate! Chef succeeded to trick our brains and palates ! Every dish was a real pleasure to discover. Staff was lovely and tried to explain us every dish. My advice to the owner to event improve the experience, make a real beverage menu (the tourniquet thing on table is cheap) and drop the paper towels for real cloth napkins (same for the restroom).
