Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City｜Arkansas Diner

The Baconator was just the fix I needed. So far it's the best burger I've had in Kaohsiung. And I've tried many burgers trying to satisfy my cravings. Do note that the reason it's so good is because it's so flavourful (salty) which is not what the locals are used to.

This was a wonderful place to have a wonderful dinner. I went there with a group of four at 5:30 pm. We were greeted quickly and shown around the restaurant before we sat down. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The decor in the restaurant is fun and nostalgic! It brought me back to childhood memories of growing up in America! The people that work, there are very professional and kind. They speak Chinese and English equally as well. All the food we ordered was fantastic and hot when it got to the table. The price of the food was well worth the portion served. We had wonderful ice cream, milkshake, and brownie for dessert. I have to say the possum pie dessert was the best dessert I’ve ever had. It was a mixture of cream cheese, chocolate, pudding, and a sweet wonderful gram cracker like crust. It was just sweet enough, and so delicious!!! We will definitely come back to Arkansas restaurant soon. Thank you so much for everything !!!

Had a great time at Arkansas Diner last night with the wife & kids! Will go in a regular basis in the future for sure! First off, waitress are super friendly and helpful to us and the kids, kept patrolling close by all the customer’s table and check on everyone’s need. Secondly, the FOOD!!!! Amazing!!! Being back to Kaohsiung from Michigan & Alberta, Canada for a while, I’ve been searching for the right country southern-styled cooking food, and trust me, Arkansas Diner is by far the best in Kaohsiung I’d say! Here comes Boss/Chef Landis! Such a passionate owner that will check on everyone, joke around and ask for feedbacks and fun chats! Just felt talking to a family relative :) lotsa love my friend! Last but not least, if you’re looking for “fast-food” go to McDonald’s! If you’re looking for normal burgers, go to your neighborhood breakfast chain-stalls! But if you’re someone like me, who try to find the great southern cooking taste down memory lane, then Arkansas Diner will be your best shot in town for sure! Cheers!!!!
