Lingya District, Kaohsiung City｜Hong Mao Gang Seafood Restaurant

This is my family’s go-to-restaurant whenever we have gatherings or need to entertain guests. The seafood is incredibly fresh and the cooking is traditional with a touch of creativity. The deco and the service evoke the old times. They’re a bit dated but non-pretentious: what you get is what you see. The wait staff may appear to be curt, but they usually soften up when I treat them with respect. For first-timers, I’d highly recommend getting their set menu as it’s a good assortment of all the best dishes and superb value of what you pay for. I don’t say this easily but this is truly my personal favorite restaurant in the whole world.

Great service and fresh seafood. The only disappointment was their steamed Crab. While fresh, given the amount of meat on it it wasn't worth the price.

The taste is still as fresh as usual Bangbangbangbang fresh and delicious
