Yonghe District, New Taipei City｜竹林路月見食堂

Came to eat at steak house next door. Thank goodness they were closed. Fortunately I saw the yellow sign for this great little Japanese restaurant outside and we decided to give them a try. What a delightful experience. We had the mixed sashimi and a salmon California roll. The presentation was delightful and the sashimi dong was creative, with copious amounts of red and black caviar. The maki was as good as we have had at Yama Sushi in Sheffield. Quite delightful. I hope to see some inventive maki on future visits. This is now our #1 Japanese in New Taipei City. *****.
